Your wedding is an incredible celebration of love and we know that the images captured on this day are what you will have to remember it for the rest of your life and generations to come. We believe that the images should tell the story of details and events but more importantly help you relive emotions from the day. They should capture who you are and how you interact as a couple.

Here is some more information on our wedding coverage so you can get to know a bit more about what we have to offer:

Equipment: We shoot with canon digital cameras as well as several vintage film cameras (we mainly use these for a few details and some of the portraits). We always carry backup equipment in the form of multiple cameras and lenses, extra memory cards, batteries, and multiple flash units.

Second Shooters: We think its important to have two photographers at your event to be able to capture different angles and aspects. Using a second shooter gets you two unique perspectives of the same moments and is important in fully telling the story of your day. We only hire professional full time photographers to second shoot so you will also be getting an assurance of backup in the unlikely event that your main photographer is injured or unable to shoot you know that you have a professional at the event.

Backups: We backup all of our images on two external hard drives as well as online. That is the first thing we do when we finish a wedding so there are multiple copies of your photographs and we can rest at ease that they are safe and secure. Once you purchase your digital wedding files we always recommend backing them up in several places as well. Hard drives can crash and dvd’s can scratch or fail over time so its important for you to take care in backing up your files so that you can enjoy them for years and years to come.

Schedule: It is so important to create a schedule together to ensure that there is enough time for the photographs that you want and so that you don’t feel rushed or hurried. Most wedding days go a bit off schedule at some point so we try to work with you to build in some padding in the time and keep things on track if they do. If you are working with a wedding planner we’ll communicate with them and create the schedule together to make sure that their needs are met and the schedule allows for enough time for portraits and other important photos. If you’re doing the planning on your own we’ll talk through the day with you and create a day of photography schedule to help you plan your other details with like when your hair and makeup starts and what time family should arrive for portraits.

Formal Portraits: Our style is mostly candid but we also realize the importance of family portraits. We will walk through a questionnaire with you to talk through which formal portraits are important to you and help build them into the schedule. Make sure that you take time to think through what you can and can’t live without so we can talk through this before the wedding and make a plan together.

How many pictures will I get? That really varies depending on how many guests you have, how long your coverage is, and how many details you have. On average a finished gallery of photos is generally between 600 and 1000 images.

Can I order an album or products after the wedding? Yes! A lot of our couples choose to order an album on their year anniversary which gives them something to look forward to and also allows them to spend that part of the wedding budget on something else and save up for it after the wedding.
